Isn't it interesting....

Doesn't it strike you as odd that we are the only species that when we get upset, we cry, we have a 'heavy heart', that we have deeply rooted emotional, psychological and spiritual issues about other people, some of which we have never even met and the implications and affect on us are dramatic.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that we are the only species that have longings to know our biological parents, our extended family and understand the need to invest our time, money and emotional currency into them?

Why is it that a son or daughter will relish having their father or mother tell them they love them and are proud of them and yet no other species will yearn and invest their resources trying to plug that hole in their heart if those words are never spoken into them by their parents for the rest of their life?

Why is it that we are the only species that think that education is the answer to the majority of ills in the world, yet when education is strong in a society, the ills of the world increase?

Why is is that we are the only species that have a deeply rooted conscience of morals, judgement and justice and a complex legal system to address this?

Why is it that the matters of the heart can never be quenched by education and information alone?   No matter how much we search for information as to "how", the 'why' is never satisfied - maybe because we can always go back to the previous "why" and then the "but why?" before that and on it goes, infinitely regressing...

It's it odd that if a person has no hope in their heart, then they will die, why is hope so important to our species?  I do not see the ant or bird or whale or palm tree needing hope to survive.

Why is it that it is me typing these thoughts and considerations and not another species ?  And yet there is not another species that comes even close to being able to do what our species does or think?

Doesn't it strike you as odd that (some) the atheist rails against a God who allows suffering and pain, yet that suffering is brought on by another human, yet the atheist wants human rights, individuality, secularism and freedom to do "what thou wilt" without a God telling them how to behave, what to do and what the consequences are?

Doesn't it strike you as odd that the world hates Christ and his teachings on Heaven, Hell, Life and Sin, but preaches 'humanist' values of individuality, universal human rights and freedom, and yet crucified him in the most "excruciating" form of death known to man either in their heart or mind.

It's interesting that Christ is being taken out of CHRISTmas.  Yet Christ (meaning the Messiah/Saviour) is the saviour of man's heart - yours and mine.  Christmas is a beautiful time for our hearts to forgive, overlook and remember the thing that bonds us: Love - where does love come from? Who made that?  I respect science, but it can't find the origin of that in a lab or test tube.

Maybe Richard Dawkins will find "love" evolved out of the cave some several hundred thousand or million years ago.... Merry Christmas Dr Dawkins and all atheists, I wish you a genuine Merry Christmas, full of love, peace and hope.  I pray your heart has peace and forgiveness and hope.

To my Ironmen, you guys are fantastic.  My heros. God Bless you and your families.
